Notes
It emphasizes the significance and characterization of mobile grid computing. It also deliberates the issues that ensue in mobile grid computing and root cause which motivates for designing the proposed work. Grid computing emerged as the next-generation parallel and distributed computing, aggregates many geographically dispersed heterogeneous resources that solve compute-intensive and dataintensive problems that are not practically feasible to run in traditional distributed computing environments. Grid is a large-scale virtual computing environment wherein the users can share the computer resources like files, software, computing power and data storage of several organizations or users. A Grid provides dependable, consistent, pervasive, and inexpensive access to computational devices to produce resource capacity comparable to high-end supercomputers. It employs remote collaboration, storage and the huge power of potentially infinite ubiquitous computing devices for problem solving in various fields, including high energy physics, earth system sciences, astronomy, Geosciences, Archaeology, Bioinformatics, biomedical science and financial modelling. .......
